First things first – no that isn’t my real name. My surname is Culliford and the childhood nickname seems to have stuck. Anyway, it seemed like a fitting title for the story of my journey to health.

I started this blog to share my journey as I find my way back to true health and to help you do the same.

After 10 years of trying to follow all sorts of health guidelines, diets, exercise plans, you name it..  I hit rock bottom and realised that, in truth, I wasn’t healthy at all.

I had all the signs of low metabolism: fatigue, anxiety, feeling cold and totally absent periods.  This was the big one for me. Finding out I wasn’t fertile was a total ice-cold-water-in-the-face moment, especially when I knew deep down it was my own lifestyle which was the problem!

But times like this bring opportunities and this was the time for me to totally re-evaluate what I considered health to be.  I took a total break from exercise and loosened up on the nutritional reigns. And after 4 months I got my periods back!

And what now?

Now I am starting again from scratch, learning how to look after myself, listen to my body and find out what is truly healthy for me.  I want to use this blog to share my journey towards real health and wellbeing and hopefully inspire you to find your own unique path.
